Southampton
Walk a stretch of the medieval town walls, then down to Town Quay and Ocean Village for a drink by the marina.
Southampton, Portsmouth and Hampshire
Curvy singles and admirers from the docks to the New Forest.
Hampshire has a good-sized community, centred on Southampton but reaching Portsmouth, Winchester, Basingstoke, Eastleigh and the New Forest towns. Women make up a little under half of members, and the age spread is wide: almost half are between 35 and 54, with a strong group over 55 and a few younger members too.
It is a county of easy distances. Southampton to Portsmouth is under an hour by train, Winchester is a short hop, and the New Forest is right on the doorstep, so meeting halfway is rarely a problem.

By the water
Hampshire's coast gives you easy, level walks with somewhere to sit at the end.

Gunwharf Quays for food with a harbour view, or a level stroll along Southsea seafront to the castle.
A Georgian high street, a Saturday market and a quayside café looking across to the Isle of Wight.
Winchester is one of the loveliest small cities in England for a first date. The cathedral close is calm and green, the walk along the River Itchen from the city centre is gentle, and the high street has plenty of tea rooms with proper seats. In winter, the cathedral's Christmas market is a festive outing.
In the New Forest, Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst are both easy to reach, with ponies wandering through the villages and flat gravel tracks for a short walk. Choose a pub with a garden and a good fire, and you have a near-perfect day.
Before meeting anyone, check their profile for a verified badge and meet somewhere public; our safety page covers the details, and our first date ideas have more inspiration.
Hampshire is bigger than its coast. In the north, Basingstoke's Festival Place is under cover, with plenty of places to sit, and the nearby War Memorial Park is a gentle green walk. Eastleigh and Chandler's Ford sit handily between Southampton and Winchester for a halfway meet. Alresford, on the Watercress Line heritage railway, is a pretty Georgian town with independent cafés and a short level path along the river, a lovely choice for a slow Saturday. Wherever you live in the county, a forty-minute radius covers a lot of curvy singles.
Our Hampshire members live right across the county. Search across both Southampton and Portsmouth and you will find them all.
