Bristol Harbourside
M Shed is free and tells the city's story; walk along the water past the Arnolfini and stop for a drink with a view of the boats.
Bristol, Bath, Somerset and Gloucestershire
A mature crowd, almost evenly split between women and men.
Our members around Bristol stretch from the city out to Bath, Weston-super-Mare, Taunton and the Cotswold side of Gloucestershire. It is one of the most balanced areas we have: women make up almost exactly half, so whether you are a curvy woman or an admirer, the odds are even.
It is also one of the most mature. More than half of members here are 55 or over, and nearly three in ten are 65 plus. If you are dating again in your sixties, you will feel right at home, and our page on BBW dating over 50 is written with you in mind.

Very few members here are under 35, so younger curvy singles may want to widen their search towards Cardiff or Swindon.
Bristol and Bath
Bristol's harbour is flat and lively; Bath is made for slow, elegant dates.
M Shed is free and tells the city's story; walk along the water past the Arnolfini and stop for a drink with a view of the boats.
Covered stalls and street food in the old city, ideal on a wet Saturday when you want to graze and chat.
Afternoon tea, the Abbey and the Royal Crescent. Bath is hilly away from the centre, so stay in the flat middle for a first date.
Somerset members are scattered between Taunton, Yeovil, Bridgwater and the coast. Weston-super-Mare's long seafront promenade is level and breezy, with cafés along the way, and it is a cheerful choice on a sunny afternoon. Inland, Wells is often called England's smallest city, and its cathedral green is a peaceful spot to sit and talk.
In Gloucestershire, Cheltenham's Promenade and Imperial Gardens make for an elegant, flat walk, while Gloucester's historic docks have warehouses turned into cafés and shops. Wherever you meet, choose daylight for the first date and make your own way there. Our safety page has the full list of tips.
Bristol's summer brings the Harbour Festival, with boats, music and food along the water, and in August the Balloon Fiesta fills the sky above Ashton Court, a sight worth an early alarm. In autumn and winter, the city's independent cinemas and the cosy pubs of Clifton Village are perfect for a first date indoors. Bath has a Christmas market around the Abbey in the run-up to Christmas, and the Thermae Bath Spa's rooftop pool, open all year, makes a memorable second date once you know each other a little better.
